Ag Science
Family and Consumer Science
Philosophy - Career & Technology courses are designed to integrate academics into career oriented classes. The work force of tomorrow will have to have increasing skills to advance up the career ladder. Career & Technology courses will better equip them with these needed skills.

Coherent Sequence of Courses or Elective - Students may take career and Technology classes strictly as electives or they may participate in a coherent sequence of courses designed to guide a student in a particular career direction. Students are tested before their 14th birthday using a Career Assessment Test. This helps a student know in which general area they have more interest or aptitude. Those who decide on a coherent sequence of courses will take courses which will guide them in a specific Career Pathway.

Each student enrolled in a Career and Technology (CATE) course is required to conduct a supervised career connections experience. Credit will not be awarded without the completion of this project.
