School Library

Our school library offers many types of books for readers of all ages.  We have many career books readily available that discuss the SAT or help out the college bound student.  This year we recieved a reading grant of 170,000!!! Some of this money has been utilized to improve the Library with new books. The elementary classes took a trip to the book store, they picked out books that they would enjoy reading for the library.

Our librarian is Mrs. St. Clair.  She is very helpful and ready to assist the students whenever they need help finding a book. She actually helped Walnut Springs start a library in the beginning. She now visits our school once a week on Wednesday.

Our assistant librarian is Mrs. Uloth.  She is a very organized person, which makes her a great help to our library.  She is available in the Library every school day.She gets to spend time with the elementary students and sometimes do special projects.  Her goal for this year was to help the students read willingly.  Not only has her goal been accomplished, but as you watch the children read these books, you can tell that they actually enjoy them.  Her goal for next year is to get a few authors to come and visit our school.  That would be awesome!
