Meet Chief Alicia Wallum

I’m honored to serve as the Chief of Police for Walnut Springs ISD. My top priority is ensuring a safe, secure, and supportive learning environment where students and staff can focus on learning and growth. I began my law enforcement career in 2023, knowing that working as a school resource officer (SRO) was my main passion and interest in this profession. My background includes 7 years in education, so working in the school district is very familiar to me. I believe school policing is about more than enforcement—it’s about relationships, prevention, and mentorship. Being visible, approachable, and a supportive role model for students is important to me.

I joined Walnut Springs ISD in 2025, and I’m proud to work alongside a dedicated team focused on student safety and positive relationships.
