Back to School Plans

WSISD is currently awaiting information from the state
as to
the requirements for re-opening for the '20-'21 school year.

In planning we are taking steps to ensure the health and safety of our students. With the health and safety of our students our major concern, we are all looking forward to having our students back on campus for instruction beginning August 17th. (See School Calendar posted.)

At this time, please keep in mind any dates, times, and scheduling plans are dependent on state requirements.
Tentative plans include:
Changes in classroom assignments to ensure classrooms will be large enough to allow for social distancing.
The school day will be from 7:50 - 3:35 (same as last year).

Each grade level will have an assigned classroom. Teachers will move around.

We will continue to be a CEP campus with all students receiving free breakfasts and lunches. Breakfast will be served in the classroom. Students will go to lunch and each in the cafeteria and 3 repurposed classrooms.

Virtual learners may pre-order meals for Grab and Go Pick-up.

Daily Pick-up Schedule: Breakfast-7:45 am -8:15 am      Lunch: 12:45 - 1:15
