Class of 2023 Senior Bios


Sandra Castilleja is the daughter of Sandra and Olegario Castilleja.  She was a member of the Lady Hornets basketball team her freshman and sophomore years.  She was a clarinetist in the high school band and enjoys listening to music in her spare time.  Sandra savors time with her family, her friends, and her cat.  Six months from graduation Sandra will be a certified medical assistant after completing Granbury Medical’s program.

Eddie  Davalos is the son of Martin Davalos and Maria Chavez.  He was active in the sports program at Walnut Springs High School until he was sidelined with an injury his senior year.  Eddie has volunteered at North Bosque County Helping Hands.  He enjoys his friends and TV.  He plans to attend Lincoln Technical College to receive an associate’s degree in automotive technology.


Victor Favela is the son of Victor and Melissa Favela.  His interest in high school has centered on sports and his friends.  He especially enjoys automobiles and, after graduation he will continue his work in the family’s construction business.


Damian Herrada, the son of Jesus and Jennie Herrada. He plans to study robotics at the University of Texas at Arlington. Damian is an avid reader, and, as a part of high school, he has participated in UIL Science and FFA. 

Alexander Kilcrease is the son of Charlene Gamble and Calvin Avery.  Alex played basketball his freshmanyear. He also played the trumpet and tuba in band.  In his spare time, Alex plays guitar, walks or jogs, playsvideo games and enjoys time with his friends.  After graduation, Alex will be entering Lincoln Tech and plans tograduate from their Diesel Mechanic program.

Emmalee Pullin is the daughter of Clint and Brandy Pullin.  Among her many activities are the athleticprogram where she was an all-district basketball player and track regional qualifier her sophomore year. She isa community volunteer through the Walnut Springs Business for Youth and Agriculture, the Tarrant CountyFood Bank and other community service needs.  When not working one of her jobs or showing swine throughthe agriculture program, she likes to spend time traveling and with her family and friends.  Emmalee will beattending McLennan Community College to receive her degree in radiology.


Bernardo (Bernie) Granados Rico is the son of Bernardo and Diana Esmeraldo Rico Flores.  He has been active in student government, National Honor Society, sports photography, FFA, and UIL.  In his senior year, he was an honorary page in the Texas Legislature.  He has served his community as a volunteer for its activities and as a tutor for struggling students. After graduation he looks forward to studying at Tarrant County
College and to being a pilot for a commercial airline.


Cody Snyder is the son of Rick and Julia Snyder.  An early graduate, Cody has been active in golf and tennis, Dairy Judging teams, Student Council and served as football videographer. He was an officer in FFA and has done volunteer work at the Stephenville Humane Society. Cody enjoys reading - especially World War II history, floating the river, and spending time with his grandparents. After graduation, he plans to have a career
in diesel mechanics and welding.
